Reed first came to Ul'dah with his friend Nomad, he had taken to watching over the exiled Viera knowing that Nomad was not very adept at taking care of himself. The pair got separated from each other a few months prior and Reed spent an extensive amount of time searching for his lost friend. When he did finally find him, his friend had changed, a lot, the exiled Viera now reintroducing himself as Xieks Odyris.
